Kalliem87 shared a frightening experience from her first visit to Amsterdam’s Red Light District with a friend. While exploring the area, they came across a strip club and decided to go in. A joke at the entrance about a “special price for women” was met with hostility, and the atmosphere inside quickly turned tense. The venue was overcrowded with men, and they were among only a few female guests. Although the performers initially seemed friendly and encouraged them to buy each other lap dances, things changed the moment they stopped spending money. One dancer became aggressive, and a bouncer brushed it off as jealousy — leaving the women confused and increasingly uneasy.
Things took a serious turn when the same dancer who had befriended them earlier offered them a shot — a black-colored drink that raised immediate red flags. Despite their hesitation, they went along with it. Both women blacked out almost immediately afterward. The next memory kalliem87 had was of sitting by the canal outside the club, holding her friend’s hair back as she vomited repeatedly. They had no recollection of leaving the club or returning to their hotel. Thankfully, they weren’t physically harmed, but they later discovered $60 missing from her friend’s bank account — the only trace of what had happened during the blackout.
Kalliem87 urges others to stay far away from this club. What could’ve been a funny story about a wild night out turned into something disturbing and dangerous. She’s grateful nothing worse happened, but emphasizes how quickly things spiraled — and how vulnerable they were after just one suspicious drink.
