Mark C shared that although the hotel initially appeared attractive and had decent amenities, it was in urgent need of renovation. While the rooms were generally cleaned daily and the food was average, he noted that some staff were unhelpful or overly focused on female guests. Unfortunately, his family’s holiday took a traumatic turn when his wife was sexually assaulted by a hotel worker in an elevator, in front of their two young children. The incident left his wife shaken and the children frightened, and when Mark reported it, hotel management initially seemed responsive.
However, the situation escalated disturbingly when they met with the general manager: the alleged attacker was brought into the office and beaten by three men until he begged for his life. Mark found this violent response deeply upsetting and felt the situation was mishandled. Although management and a holiday rep offered apologies, the promised involvement of authorities never materialized. Now back home, Mark is pursuing legal action and says the experience left him and his wife traumatized. He strongly urges others to stay vigilant and avoid being alone, especially women.
