Desideria reported a disturbing experience at a hostel in Riga, where her booking was suddenly changed to a different address without prior notice. Upon arrival, she was greeted by a staff member who appeared intoxicated and possibly under the influence of drugs. During their interaction, he inappropriately touched her, making her feel unsafe. Despite her repeated requests to rest after a late flight, he continued to offer her alcohol and cigarettes before finally leaving her alone. While other staff members seemed more professional, the overall environment and hostel standards were very low.
