In this review, jpclt recounts a deeply upsetting incident that occurred during the second night of his honeymoon at a Sandals resort in Montego Bay. While dancing at the resort’s disco, his wife was sexually assaulted by an employee known as “Show Time,” who inappropriately touched her under her dress and then forced her to touch him. The incident turned what should have been a joyful and romantic vacation into a distressing experience that cast a shadow over the rest of their stay.
Despite reporting the assault immediately, jpclt states that the resort’s response was inadequate. Management claimed to be “investigating,” but the employee denied everything and remained on staff. In the end, the couple was offered a free future stay in exchange for signing legal release forms, but the damage had already been done. jpclt warns other travelers to reconsider visiting this resort, especially if the employee involved is still working there.
