Paul and his girlfriend stayed at Club Fiji for three nights, but things went downhill fast after he woke up covered in bites—later confirmed to be bed bugs. Without telling them, staff moved all their belongings to another room while fumigating the first, tossing their stuff (including pajamas) together and refusing to wash any of it, even though it was likely contaminated.

When they asked for help, the staff denied responsibility and only offered a small meal discount as compensation—then asked them not to leave a bad review. Paul said if they’d just communicated properly and handled things with some basic care and respect, they might’ve overlooked it. Instead, he had to deal with itchy bites the whole trip and vowed never to return.
