Their room had stained, torn towels and holey sheets, broken shower tiles, and deck chairs that looked ready to collapse. The resort didn’t have enough clean linen, and the “courtesy” shower room was dangerously slippery—raising real health concerns. The cleaning staff tried their best but clearly weren’t given the tools to do their jobs properly.

Adding to the trouble, the resort wasn’t wheelchair-friendly despite knowing ahead of time about the guest’s needs, and much of the food was unsuitable for someone with swallowing issues. While the pool was the only highlight, the overall stay left them—and many others—feeling let down and determined not to return.
