On the night of my birthday last week I was convinced by a Brazilian couple in Rio de Janeiro to share a drink to my health. Instead they drugged me, broke into my apartment and stole EVERYTHING.
When I woke up I found my apartment more or less cleared out. My camera equipment, my cell phones/cameras, my computer, my drone, my credit cards, my cash, microphones … my hair trimmer and flip-flops, beach towel: all was gone.
I later found out that while I was locked out from my accounts because or the theft they also took my last money from my emergency Paypal.
